Get your kicks when you're six

When you live with a 6-year old, it is not uncommon to find things like this on your dresser... (He will hide that 5" blue rubber cockroach under our pillows or in a drawer and really, REALLY think that we will think it's real and be scared to death. We all put on a good show.)

Then I was wondering, what does the 6-year old see in this house? How does he view his little world here? So I gave Cooper the camera last night and told him to take some pictures of things he saw in the house that he thought were neat or important. Here's what he came up with....

His pirate ship in his room.... He *loves* that thing....

His bed... Yes, there is crime scene tape on his wall....and a picture of the Captain taped beside it.....

The day's dirty clothes....

The Bloggie Doggie's food and water bowls...

Monday Night Football....That's my boy!.....

Cute little pumpkin in the kitchen that really needs some candy in him....

The Bloggie Doggie's bone. Cooper's little feet. And I think it's the camera strap.... I love it that he got his feet in the picture.....

Batman Happy Meal toy...

A painting of our house....If you look really carefully, you can see Cooper painted in there. He's pushing a dump truck. Imagine that. We have another painting of our old house with Jordan painted in it. Very special gifts from my MIL.

And finally, here's Cooper's shot of the Bloggie Doggie...

Try to look at the world around you today people through the eyes of a kid. I promise you'll notice things you've never seen before. Peace. Out.
