Heading to our VBS cook-out, jump-on-the-bouncey-things, play-on-the-water-slide, sit-and-watch-the-kids-go-nuts thing at church on Friday night.....

Cooper: Can we take Gauge?

Me: No, we probably shouldn't take him.

Cooper: You could pretend like he is your seeing eye dog.

Me: I'm pretty sure everybody at church knows I'm not blind.

Cooper: Tell them you got poked in the eye with a sword and now you are blind.

Me: Get in the car.
