Addin' it up

Fifth grade math.
Blah.
Well, it's not actually the math that's the issue.
It's the fifth grader who is doing the math.
Or not doing the math.
Whatever the case may be.
One of us won't live through this.
I'm not sure which one it will be.
Numerators.
Denominators.
Long division.
Trying to explain that a quarter of an hour is not the same as a quarter of a dollar.
Borrow.
Carry.
Those crazy word problems.
Seriously who writes those things?

In other news, Coop made the 5th & 6th grade chorus. La la la.
And, the basketball team.
So even if he can't quite figure out how much money Francis earned per hour if he was paid $34.50 for working from 8am to 2pm, he can sing. And dribble.

2 Wanna' ramble too?:

But the question is, does he dribble when he sings?

I loathe math.

Surprisingly you will both live through this, I felt the same thing might happen in our house when the girls were younger.

I never really thought about a quarter of a dollar and a quarter of an hour being different. You got my mind started this morning!
