Operation Kitty Go Away Part 2...

So the mom of the birthday girl said no to the kitten.

But the birthday girl said they could keep it until it found a home.

So the kitten went away.

But apparently the mom of the birthday girl did NOT say they could keep it until it found a home.

Then the kitten found a home.

Then that fell through.

That's when I texted everybody in my contacts and put it on Twitter and announced it at church and got a plane pulling a banner...

FREE PRECIOUS LITTLE ADORABLE KITTEN!!

No takers.

None.

And I discovered that people will flat RUN away from you when you ask if they want a kitten.

Or just laugh at you right in your face.

And the birthday girls family was really not liking the kitten.

And wanted it gone.

I can relate.

So we went back to get the kitten.

Because that whole thing wasn't fair to them to just dump off a kitten. 

And the birthday girl was sad because she wanted the kitten.

And she was mad at her parents because they wouldn't let her keep the kitten.

Then Jordan got a text they had found a home for the kitten.

Yay.

Bye bye kitten.

Bye. Bye. Kitten.

Finally.

We're going to call this a lesson learned.

And I might laugh about it in a few days.

Or weeks.

Or a year.
