There is snow all around us.
But not here.
Don't get me wrong....there are some flurries.
And it's sticking to the grass.
But there is really none to speak of.
Apparently cold air is dryer than warm air, so it was "too cold to snow".
Which is completely ridiculous. Who ever heard such a thing?!
Yesterday morning it was 17 degrees here.
It was 29 in Anchorage, Alaska.
That just isn't right.
Now here's the funny part.
The snow did hit in some areas around us. Kind of the outskirts of the city.
My kids' school follows the county school closing announcement.
Those schools are closed.
So my kids have no school.
Even though there is no snow.
So they get a No Snow Snow Day.
Whatever works.
