Whew! We couldn't cram one more thing into this weekend. It was fun. And busy. And we are tired on Monday. Which is bad ...
Football game, basketball tryouts, birthday party, regular ol' weekend chores, plus hours and hours of packing and cleaning out and moving at the houses of Deceased G'Mom and Deceased Aunt. Mover boys and a truck helped Saturday. We are allllllllmost finished. I'm so ready to have this completed.
And then, about the time we were going to wrap up the wild weekend, the Captain came home from working at the deer lease and calmly told me he had cut the tip of his finger off. OK, then. After an hour of trying to get it to stop bleeding (four hours after he had done this) I drug him - against his will - to the minor med. A little silver nitrate (which made my brave, strong Captain come straight up off the table), a tight bandage, and some antibiotic and we were on our way. Apparently severe blood loss makes him snore even more because I hardly slept last night...
So, happy Monday. It's here whether we like it or not.
