Tooth-hurty

The Captain gave me some chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day and I already had one for breakfast... since it's fruit and all...

In other news, Coop had to have a tooth pulled suddenly on Monday.  He had some serious pain over the weekend.  And by serious pain, I mean sleeping only about an hour or two a night and crying.  It.  Was.  Rough.  He woke up all swollen on Monday.  I called the dentist and they said bring him in right then.  And, before we knew it, boy was having a tooth jerked out.  He had some serious infection up in the root of a baby tooth.  So, we spent Monday afternoon nursing a gaping hole in his mouth and trying to keep the swelling down and manage the pain.  Later found out that infection like that can get all up in his brain.  Ummmm, that doesn't sound too good.  So, we are on a major round of antibiotic.  But, the tooth fairy brought him $5 so it wasn't all in vain.

Coop hasn't lost many baby teeth.  Guess he'll be married and the father of three and the tooth fairy will still come see him...

Hard to do

Things that are hard to do when you are right handed and wearing a brace on your right hand that prevents any movement at the wrist:

Cook.
Do pretty much anything in the kitchen.
Pick up heavy things.
Pour a cup of coffee.
Fold sheets.
Go to the bathroom.
Hold a baby.
Hold a baby who is wearing stockings because the velcro from the brace attaches to the stockings.

Plenty of other things that are challenging.
But, that's enough whining.

It's Monday.
It's raining.
My kids are on fall break.
I'm not.
The end.

Five Things

I've got five things for you today:

1.  Remember my broken not broken hand?

I finally got it checked out yesterday because it was still hurting.

I have a cracked something or other.

And am sporting a lovely black brace for two weeks.

Which is better than a red cast for two weeks.

It's kind of difficult to do things.  Cause it's my right hand. Of course it is.  And I can't move my wrist at all.  Which apparently is the whole point of the brace.  Whatever.

2. I painted my front door last night.   Which was a bit tricky with aforementioned brace.

3.  If a dog eats a poorly placed bowl of vegetable lasagna at 7:00 pm, he will decide he doesn't want it anymore at 3:0 am.

4.  Connie and her crew leave this morning for a weeklong mission trip to Honduras. I won't be able to communicate with her.  At all.  For a week.  Waaaaahhhhhh.  One hour into this, and I've already started to text her three times.

5.  If the Hogs don't win tomororw I seriously don't know what I'm going to do.

OK, that's all.

Have a good weekend.  May all your laundry be conquered and may your team win.

Woo Pig.

Call me Grace

Went on a nice walk last night with Jordan and The Bloggie Doggie.

A good time was had by all.  We enjoyed the cooler temps and talked about all sorts of stuff from boys to homework to boys to volleyball to boys to food to boys.

Then right when we got home, I tripped on the curb.

And fell.

Well, I hit the ground and rolled with an excellent volleyball roll and ended up laying in the yard like a dead animal.

And Jordan was waivering between cracking up and worrying.

So after I laid (layed?) in the yard on my back looking up at the pretty sunset, I got up, drug myself in the house and proceeded to struggle with fifth grade math for the next two hours.

Good times.

And, now, in the light of day, I'm a little sore.

Because a middle aged woman can't hit the hard concrete in that sort of fashion and not have any repercussions.

Plus, I think my hand is broken.

Awesome.

ouch

So my bike was delivered on Friday.

That was fast.

It was delivered in a box.

It was super heavy.

I tried to move it in the house by myself.

That was stupid.

I twisted my knee.

What a goober.

The Captain put it together for me on Saturday.

But I haven't been on it yet.

Probably this week.

My knee feels better today.

Guess I could tell folks I had a biking accident.

I'm a total goober.

Ouch and a couch.

I woke up this morning with a painful pinchy thing going on in my neck.

It's making my right arm and hand all tingly and numb. That can't be good. Because I pretty much use my right arm during the day. Quite a bit actually.

I'm pretty sure I need a massage.

And some new patio furniture.

Which has nothing to do with anything.

Except the fact that I want some new patio furniture.

Specifically a couch.

I tried to rearrange the existing ugly green table and chairs. And it kind of works. Kind of. Except it really still really looks like an ugly green table and chairs. Just moved around in a different spot.

Anyway, back to the pain in my neck...

It hurts.

And my hand is tingly.

Oh, I already said that?

Then clearly this pain is radiating to my brain.

Maybe I should call in sore today. And sit outside on my non-existent couch.

Full Moon

How was your day, dear?

This is how yesterday played out for me.

I played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with nine other people in front of ninety people.

I found out my boss has been eating Milk Bone dog biscuits on a regular basis since he was a kid. Aren't there TV shows about stuff like that?

I got a text from Jordan that went something like this, "Ummm, don't freak out, but Cooper just ran away."

Yes, he ran away.

He was mad at my mother-in-law for not buying him some fake blood.

Yes, it was for wrestling.

They found him.

He didn't get far.

He left a note for Jordan that said, "I'm running away. I'm not treated fairly. Love you, Cooper."

Later when I asked him how he thought I felt when I heard he ran away, he said, "Sad, mad, and famished?" Bonus points for using a vocabulary word.

Connie was involved in a hit and run. SHE'S FINE.

I was on the phone with her when it happened. A little damage to her car. But apparently nothing like the damage that the other guy had. There was a witness who tole her the other guy's mirror was ripped off and his car all messed up. Serves him right. Jerk. As a good junior deputy, she got his tag. He'll be sorry about all that. You can't just ram a car and drive off. Even if it is a green mini van.

The Captain went to wait with her while the appropriate officers made the scene.

Told Cooper he had to go with me to take Jordan to volleyball.

Fit. Pitch.

Told him to grab a bowl of soup before we go.

Another fit pitched because I was making him eat "YUCKY" soup.

Fine.

Reminded Cooper he had a science test to study for.

Was informed that he didn't care and school is stupid.

Tried to pitch another fit.

Kibosh.

He had a major case of the can't help its yesterday.

Took Jordan to practice and watched her try to push through the pain in her thumb.

After talking with the coach, I ran up to the store and got a brace that she could play in. While I was waiting in the check out line, I was pretty sure the guy in front of me had a gun in his pocket and was about to rob the place.

It wasn't a gun.

He didn't rob the place.

He just bought some cigarettes.

Whew.

Original plans for last night were to pack for this weekend's volleyball tourney, do laundry, change sheets and all that stuff.

Jordan asked me to stay with her at practice.

So I did.

Then on the way home, I tried to help her sort through rollercoaster emotions. I clearly didn't so a very good job with that. Sigh....

And then our route home was blocked off by 343741209 police cars.

So we took a longer route home.

And I got home at 10:30 and found the Captain had left the pot of delicious soup out for us to eat. But we weren't hungry for delicious soup at 10:30. So I had to wash the pot of delicious soup at 10:30.

Final: Thursday 27 Angie 0

In summary...

The weekend.... in summary....

It was my birthday.
It was a good one.
I spent 15 hours of it at a volleyball tournament.
But Jordan didn't play.
Because of this....

It's only for two weeks.
Slight tear of the ligament in her thumb.
Yes, she did it playing volleyball.

Yes, it's her right hand.
Yes, she's right handed.
Yes, she asked me to help her shave her legs.
And cut her meat.

Cooper's Man Cave has made a reappearance.

I had a hot date with the Captain Friday night.
He may or may not have used my readers to check out the menu.

That's about the extent of my weekend.....

I could use one more day off.
To no avail....

Just Another Medic Monday

Complaints of a sore throat and a pretty major history of strep led me to take Jordan to the minor med yesterday for the ol' swabby strep test.

Good news. No strep.

Bad news. No strep. Because means, there's no Rx for that. And, as Jordan put it, "It's just a waste of a perfectly good sore throat."

So she feels like doggie poop. And since next week is exams, this week is known as "Cram as much work and tests as you can into one week". So that's blah.

When we got home, Cooper said the Captain had been waiting on me to help him with his head...

...since he had busted his head open on a nail when he was in the attic...

...while he was up there checking on a roof leak...

...which was discovered after the 5+" of rain we have had over a 48 hour period...

....and now there's a big wet spot on the den ceiling...

...awesome.

Oh, the Captain --

Anyway, he ripped the back of his head open on an exposed nail.

So I tried to clean it out. And stop the bleeding. And not faint. I'm not too keen on bloody heads so I just kept recommending going BACK to the minor med for stitches. Then I wouldn't faint in my own bathroom floor while trying to clean up his gash. Besides, he wouldn't let me put peroxide on it for fear of bleaching out his hair....

After a few texts and photos sent to Dr. Brother-in-Law, we decided stitches were not in the Captain's future.

So he sat over there in his chair with cotton balls stuck on his head and tried not to bleed out while eating sour cream chicken enchiladas and watching Monday Night Football.

I was feeling a bit better about his condition until he said, "So you're pulling for the Ravens tonight?"

Ummmm, well.... it's the Chargers and the Jaguars.

Alrighty then....

I just sat there in my chair, eating my dinner, and googling "head injury symptoms"....

Later, he said he couldn't keep his eyes open and we debated if that was a result of the blood loss or just because he was just tired. We finally just threw caution to the wind and headed off to bed.

That's when he says, "I regret to tell you that my chiropractor has told me I have to sleep on my back"

(He's been seeing somebody - who we actually go to church with - about a neck problem...)

I put my head in my hands and started weeping. Because when the Captain sleeps on his back, he snores like some sort of large bear in the peak of hibernation.

"He says it's bad for my neck if I sleep on my back."

"Well, it's bad for your marriage if you sleep on your back."

So the Captain and his bloody head drifted off to sleep.

And immediately started snoring.

And snored so loud that it woke him up.

At 9:30 pm.

And I said, "I'll be having a word with ol' B.K. on Wednesday night at church. And I'm not afraid to call him at 2:00 in the morning to discuss this treatment method."

So, I just swallowed half a bottle of advil PM, passed out cold, and slept through the night.

I was a little scared when I woke up this morning that the Captain had bled out overnight in his sleep, but his white pillowcase was still white this morning and he was breathing, so I guess he's ok.

Unless he starts cheering for the Ravens this morning.

I'm sure you're fine. Or not.

Unless the bone is sticking out, there is bodily fluid pouring from every orifice of your body, or you are losing blood to the point of requiring a transfusion, my typical response to "medical whining" is "Let's just watch it. Put some ice on it. I'm sure you're fine."

And that's what I told Cooper Thursday night when he fell off his bike and complained the rest of the night about his hand.

"Let's just watch it. Put some ice on it. I'm sure you're fine."

And that's what I told Cooper Friday morning when he complained about his hand.

"Let's just watch it. Put some ice on it. I'm sure you're fine."

And that's what the school office told Cooper later Friday morning when he complained about his hand.

"Let's just watch it. Put some ice on it. I'm sure you're fine."

And then his finger doubled in size and turned three shades of purple.

And the school called me and the Captain brought him to my office and we got an x-ray and a diagnosis of a cracked bone in his hand.

And a cast for two weeks.

He picked orange.

Yes, it's his right hand. Yes, he's right handed. As if nine-year old boys are challenged at the dinner table and in the bathroom enough with both hands, let's go ahead and put a cast on the dominant hand. No comment.

Anyhoo...he'll be fine.

He'll be proud to show his cast off at school today. And he's sporting Josh Pastner's signature -- we saw him at the U of M women's volleyball game yesterday - So that's cool.

The weekend was full of lots of stuff and things and teenage social events. And almost every emotion known to man. And a migraine. And a Hog win. But it did not include rest or laundry or grocery shopping. So that's kind of where we are.

Tired. Sporting an orange cast. And staring Monday in the face.

Can't. Move.

I started a new exercisey thing this week.

Just a simple little 20 minute DVD with a tiny little 4 lb kettlebell.

I thought that it sounded easy enough.

And silly me even wondered if the four pound weight would be enough.

Let me assure you that it is.

Because right now I'm so sore all over my body I can hardly lift my arms up to the keyboard to type this.

And squatting down to pick something up? Forget it. It can stay down there on the floor forever as far as I'm concerned.

The DVD exercise gal made pretty good use of her 20 minutes because I was totally dripping when it was all said and done.

I had to get serious and do something about this situation where I look like a female version of the Michelin Man. I guess that would make me the Michelin Woman.

Actually, I was on a good path with the whole "Drop some weight" thing until the holidays arrived.

And you know, I never met a sausage ball I didn't like.

Anyway, those kettlebells....they are sneaky little devils. But from what I've read the kettlebell thing is supposed to be a pretty good way to go.

We'll see.

Pass the Icy Hot.

And have a nice weekend.

She got the boot

So Jordan does have an ankle sprain and she is now sporting a boot for the next few weeks. Thankfully there wasn't a fracture and the ligament tears were minimal. She won't get to play in the tourny this weekend, but hopefully wearing the boot and doing a little PT will have her good to go soon.

The xray also showed a little spot, unrelated to her sprain, that the doctor wants to check out. Not familiar with Jordan's dramatic ways, he used the word "cyst" and now she is convinced she has ankle cancer and needs an oncology referral. She's having an MRI this afternoon after school. I'm sure it's nothing and am glad he's following through on that.

In other news....

....the weather gurus are saying that today we may see more snow. May I remind you I live in the south and we are just not used to all this stuff. I haven't been to the grocery in weeks, so if we are snowed in, my family will be feasting on delicious meals featuring stale marshmallows, black beans, and lime jello.

....Cooper will be starring as a hippo in the 3rd grade music program this afternoon. Welcome to the jungle. He was most distressed last week when he was recast as a monkey. But then later reclaimed his hippo role.

....and I get to meet the U of M Tigers basketball coach this morning. I am wondering if it will be unprofessional to high five or hug him rather than shake his hand. Woot!

That is all I have to share with you this lovely day.

Survived.

This weekend I...

...drove 700 miles round trip in 48 hours

...and slept on a hotel room pull out sofa bed

...two nights in a row

...with my sister

...and then spent two days watching volleyball

...including Jordan's team not winning a single match

...and watching Jordan go down on her ankle

...during warm-ups

...and not even playing part of the tournament

...(elevate, ice, anti-inflam, elevate, ice, anti-inflam)

...but then we got to celebrate Niece M's overall win for her age division -- WOO WOO!! {HIGH FIVE}

...and, all in all, we had fun

...and I survived my first club ball tournament

...I guess

...and I'm learning the whole club ball thing the hard way

...in a baptism by fire kind of way

But it's all good. So today, I guess I'll go to work. And get Jordan's ankle checked out. And hope I have enough food in the house to fix Cooper's lunchbox and some sort of dinner tonight.

If you need me, I'll be the one over here sporting big ol' bags under my eyes. Trying to figure out how to hook up a coffee pot into an IV.

It's not a holiday without a trip to the ER

Cause somebody has broken something.

Like a shoulder blade.

Yep, my mom fell on New Year's Eve morning and broke her scapula. Scapula is fancy medical orthopedic talk for shoulder blade.

We spent a good part of the day in the ER and she was finally sent "home" -- also known as Connie's house since her guest bedroom is on the first floor -- with narcotics and a sling.

We just got Jordan OFF the pain meds.

Now we'll put Nanny ON the pain meds.

Somebody PASS the pain meds.

Even though it's Mom right side, she was still able to scoop up some dip at the annual New Year's Day Dipapalooza which was at Connie's house this year.

And yes, it featured no less than 26 packages of cream cheese.

We ate like little piggies, watched football, and played with our iPhones all day long.

It was bliss.

I'm headed back to work today and taking Mom with me for her ortho follow-up. Hoping they reconfirm what the ER told us and she won't need a pin which would require surgery.

Speaking of surgery, the Captain's grandmother is having surgery today to remove all the cancerous tumors in her abdomen. The plan is to remove a few organs while they are down there too. Hoping all that goes well -- she's 83 and weak from all the chemo. Plus, anytime they cut you open like they are fileting a fish, it's a bit tricky.

And I'm also taking Jordan to the orthodontist this afternoon. Great. About the time her mouth feels better from the oral surgery, let's tighten up those braces.

So if anybody else needs to be taken to any sort of medical facility today, please send me a text or leave a comment below and I'll arrange for the shuttle to pick you up.

Guess today kind of wraps the whole holiday thing all up. Kids don't go back to school until tomorrow. So they still have one day of heaven left. Today may be the first day I do no eat anything that contains cream cheese or has the word "ball" in it. And I'll be required to wear "real clothes" -- also known as no pajama pants, slippers and a hoodie -- all day long. Boo. And hiss.

Here's to the first Monday of the new year. Hope it's medically successful.

Peace out, people.

Don't break a hip when you hop

I almost died last night.

Somehow, Connie convinced me to go to a dancey exercise class thing with her.

Yes. I said dancey and exercise.

She must have caught me in a weak moment.

She told me there were usually about five or six people. Mostly middle-age and "figure-challenged". OK, cool. I'm the poster child for that group.

Ummmm, last night there were almost 30 people.

Including an older gentleman who I was certain I could out-dance. Bring it Pops. Then he took off his sweatshirt and revealed his 28-pack abs and major buffy arms. Humph.

It was a really odd mix of people. Really. Odd.

I'm still not sure what we did.

An hour of hip-hop, Latin, jive dancing stuff with a lot of "SHAKE IT! SHAKE IT! SHAKE IT!" mixed in.

Huh? I'm supposed to do WHAT with my WHAT?

Call the paramedics.

Oh and there were plenty of body rolls. People, the only roll on my body is the one right around my middle, affectionately known as my Food Baby.

I was reminded that I am an out-of-shape, middle aged white woman with no rhythm. And I apparently can't count to three. Or tell the difference between my left and my right.

But it was fun. I think.

Word.

Monday, March 8, 2010

I survived. And pass the Elmer's.

Yes, we made it home safe and sound from our trip to St. Louis with the 7th grade. The trip was great. And sometimes 90 teenagers seem more like 590 teenagers. But more on that later.

First, I must share with you the text messages I got from the Captain on Wednesday night. Which, for those of you keeping score at home, was the day I left....

Captain: Guess where we are?

Connie & I were on the bus returning to the hotel after a very, VERY long day. We were trying to guess where they might be. Sonic? All tucked in the cozy bed? I even made some joke about hoping they weren't in the ER or anything.

So Connie & I sat and patiently watched my iPhone for the next incoming message to give us the answer to the question.

And then we received this picture from the Captain:

Cue the tears.

Cooper had busted his head open playing football in the courtyard at church. Because apparently a 7 year old head does not fare well when it slams into a brick wall.

Connie started patting my arm saying "It's ok." over and over. I was upset. Because being 300 miles away from your child who is in the ER - for even a minor, yet apparently profusely bleeding, accident - is not a good feeling.

My MIL took him to the ER and the Captain - who was at some fancy policey dinner - met them there.

A little glue and he was good to go.

And that is the end of that. Other than some real careful hair washing for the next week or so.

Tomorrow I will share all the things I learned about going to St. Louis with 590 90 teenagers.

It's Labor Day

While I have the day off from my labor (at least my PAID labor), I will talk about my OTHER labor......

Here's a little Labor Day meme for you...

How long was your labor?
Jordan - 19 hours. I was in labor all night long. She was born at 8:18 am on a Monday morning in April.

Cooper - 18 hours (well, they do say your second child comes faster). Once agin, a night of labor. He arrived at 9:56 am on a June Thursday.

How did you know you were in labor?
Jordan - It was a Sunday afternoon in April and started having contractions at a friend's baby shower. I thought it would be rude for my water to break during somebody else's baby shower....I went home and waited for the Captain to come home from work to get me. While I waited, I watched this new, and relatively unknown, golf phenom named Tiger Woods win the Masters.

Cooper - I was at work and started timing contractions during a meeting on a hot Wednesday in June. The Captain was on a high-profile security detail and had to wait on some relief before he could head home to get me.

Drugs?
Jordan - Ummmm, yes please.

Cooper - See above.

C-section?
Jordan - Nope

Cooper - Almost. He was face up and his chin was getting hung on my pelvis. I was trying to get him out. He was TRYING to get out. But to no avail. I'll spare you the details, but let's just say the doctor took care of everything and no c-section was needed.

Results?
Jordan - 9 lb., 14 oz.

Cooper - 8 lb., 12 oz.

Yes, both of my kids came out smoking their own cigars. "Formula? We don't need no stinking formula! Give us a cheeseburger!"

Jordan had a head full of hair. Cooper didn't see hair until he was almost a year old.

And, for the record, we didn't find out either time what we were having.....

Happy Labor Day people. Hope your day is filled with some rest from whatever kind of labor you are experiencing.

This boot is made for walkin'...kind of

Things I Have Learned About Wearing A Boot Since I Broke My Foot
by angie128

Stairs are not my friend.

Anything with a moderately sloped incline is also no pal of mine.

I cannot flex my foot in any way, shape or form.

I cannot should not drive while wearing the boot. I attempted this last week. Not a good idea. The brake pedal was not a problem. It was that darn accelerator. I was either going from 0 to 3 mph or 0 to 65 mph. There was no middle ground there.

During my boot-wearing driving attempt, I was afraid I might have to call the Captain and tell him I was in Starbucks. No, really.... IN Starbucks....

Wearing the boot puts the entire right side of my body 2" higher than the left side of my body.

It makes me limp. I look like Grandpa Amos on the Real McCoys (Thank you Bingmama!)

The sides of this boot are made of metal which hurts like the dickens when it is banged up against the inside ankle of my other foot.

The Velcro straps stick to everything. If I walk through my bedroom and get too close to the bed, I end up dragging the bedspread into the bathroom.

Dog hair sticks to Velcro.

The boot really does not make a fashion statement. At. All.

Wearing the boot is still better than wearing a cast.

Putting my best foot forward

Once upon a time, there was a girl who fell down the stairs bringing an awesome piece of Eddie Bauer luggage downstairs for her sister. Her sister needed to borrow it for a trip that she ended up not taking because she got snowed in at the Flying J Truck Stop for 14 hours. Said trip was supposed to be with entire eighth grade class to Washington D.C. An entire week. Over 2,000 miles round trip. They were gone 14 hours and only made it to exit 35. (She said they actually did make it to Arlington....But it was Arlington TN, not Arlington, VA!)

So, when luggage-loaning sister fell down the stairs, her foot really hurt. It hurt and was purple and swollen She hardly noticed it all weekend. In fact, she whined and complained to the Captain for two solid days hardly even mentioned it.

She finally decided that it may be a good idea to get it checked out. So yesterday morning she went downstairs and got xrays and saw one of our foot and ankle surgeons.

And this is how that all played out...

MD: "So, what did you do to your foot?"

Me: "Welllll.....I don't know."

MD: "Well, I know. You fractured it."

Me: whimper whimper "Define that."

MD: "You BROKE your FOOT."

Me: "Like just kind of broken?"

MD: "No, really broken."

Me: "Like broken all the way through? Like broken in TWO?"

MD: "Yes, BROKEN. It's a pretty good fracture."

Me: *sniff*

MD: "And it's your driving foot too. Hmmmmm."

Me: boo hoo hoo

MD: "You really need to be in a boot."

Me: things are looking up "A boot?! OK - I can do a boot. I was scared you were gonna put me in a c--- ooops! I almost said it - but I'm not gonna' say it and give you any wild ideas. But I was really afraid of that. I even triple shaved this morning. AND painted my toenails just in case."

And then we hobbled off - well I hobbled off and followed the doctor who has a normal gait - and looked at the xray.

And sure enough.

He was right.

It's broken.

My fourth metatarsal.

Wanna' know where that is? It's this one right here.....

And no, that's not my foot.

This is......

I have to wear this very fashionable boot for three weeks. And then we'll xray again and see where we are.

I'm not complaining. Because I didn't want a c-a-s-t. So I will wear the boot. Which I get to take off when I drive. And when I sleep. And when I take a shower. And yes, I can shave my legs. Can I have an amen?

And people have already asked me if I broke my foot over the weekend in the ice and snow. Well no, but that would make a much better story wouldn't it?

And yes, I do wear Curious George pajama pants.

Snow kidding

We got snow
Yes, we got 6". Can you believe that? Especially since it was 73 degrees on Thursday?!

It was just gorgeous.

We went to school and went sledding down the big hill.

Cooper slid right out of his pants.

The Bloggie Doggie loved the snow.

In other weekend highlights....

No Go
The bad thing about the weather was my sister and Niece M and the entire 8th grade class were trying to go on a class trip to D.C. on Saturday night. They got 30 miles outside Memphis and got stranded at a truck stop where they spent the night on the bus. After trying to make it up I-40 on Sunday morning, they turned around and came home. Major disappointment there for them. Hate that.

Oh No...Ortho?
On Friday night, while bringing a suitcase downstairs for above mentioned trip, I fell down my stairs and am now wondering if I broke some bones in my foot. It seems fine. Except for the fact that it hurts, is swollen, and is purple. Hmmmmm. I will probably cave today and get an x-ray. I painted my toenails and shaved my leg extra good just in case it's a fracture and they put me in a c-a-s-t.

Go Tigers Go
Another big win for the Tigers on Saturday. They just keep rolling, rolling, rolling. The Captain and I got to go to the game and had a great time. The Forum is just an electric place when the Tigers are playing. They were smothering on defense. We'll see where we end up in the polls today. Doubt we'll be #1, but we should absolutely move on up. Two weeks from yesterday is Selection Sunday.....do we have a #1 seed in our future?? We shall see. Man, I love those Tigers!!

OK people, that's my weekend recap. And that's enough.
